The transcriptions, in the Cyrillic alphabet, are taken from the work cited. They were computerized (with the author's permission), synchronized with the recordings, and translated into French by Mme Dina Dabjen-Bailly in 2003-2004.
Word listsTwo word lists are presented, illustrating different varieties of Bjedug.
The Tblisi recording script was accompanied by a phonological chart presenting the principles and the particularities of the transcription. Mme Dabjen-Bailly uses essentially the same transcription, without gemination. |
