| Description(s): | (en)Mizo folktale, read by Siamkima Khawlring M. A. (b. Lung Leh 1938, d. Aizawl 1992) from: Dahrawka, P.S. 1964. Mizo Thawnthu: Legends and Folk tales of the Mizo People. Aijal. Sasem Bookstall and Agency. pp. 97-101. Pu Siamkima was a well-known literary figure and teacher of English in Mizoram. In 1976-1977 Pu Siamkima was at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) at the invitation of Prof. F. K. Lehman. The recording was made at UIUC by a University of California (Berkeley) doctoral student, Edward Hillard, in July, 1976. |
