He went to pick koiralo.
The elder brother said, "Dry them and put them away!" and went to pick more.
Then he brought them.
The younger brother cooked them and dried them.
And again the elder brother came, having picked more flowers.
The flowers [that he had picked previously] had become reduced to only this much.
"Hey, did you eat them or what?" he said.
"Did you eat them or what?"
"I didn't eat any, elder brother," he answered.
I didn't eat them -- here! cut open my stomach!" he said.
"Cut open my stomach with a knife," he said, and the elder brother cut his stomach open with a knife, slash!
There was no koiralo, just [digestive] juices.
Then "What will become of me?
I've killed my younger brother.
I'll become a hoopoe," he said and planted the knife in the crown of his head. He became a hoopoe.
